The rotary kiln mainly consists of kiln body, loading dev ice, burning devi ce, unloading dev ice, electronic appliance, dust collector, etc. Different lime kilns have different structures. Their process flow are almost same.But the equipment value has big distinction, of course the results are different.

Rotary kiln is a pyroprocessing dev ice used to raise materials to a high temperature (calcination) in a continuous process. Materials produced using rotary kilns include:Cement, Lime, Refractories,Metakaolin, Titanium dioxide, Alumina, Vermiculite, Iron ore pellets They are also used for roasting a wide variety of sulfide ores prior to metal extraction

Rotary kiln belongs to building material equipment, which can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials.

Working principle

The kiln is a cylindrical vessel, inclined slightly to the horizontal, which is rotated slowly about its axis. The material will be calcined in the shell after feeding at the head of the kiln. The fuel will be spurted from the kiln tail and start burning. The hot air from the end blow into the kiln directly impacting the raw materials. And then will be turned over along the direction of circle and mixing from the high-end to low-end along the axial because of the shells slope and low speed rotation. The material will be calcined into the clinker after discomposition, calcination and cooling process. So they will discharge from the low-end.

Advantage

1.High Automation Level

The lime rotary kiln is with advanced structure. Its pre-heater with low-pressure loss can improve preheating effect efficiently. After preheating, the resolution ratio of the lime-stones can reach 2025% when they enter the kiln. Besides, the lime-stones, with fine fraction about 1015mm, can be used directly.

2.Waste Heat be Reused Effectively

The two sides of the reliable rotary kiln are sealed by the combined scales, which can make the air leakage coefficient less than 10%. Composite refractory materials should be used in order to reduce the loss of radiant heat.

3.Low Energy Consumption

The filling vertical cooler, round or square, can be zoned-ventilation, which can make the temperature of lime-stones in the cooler at about 80 degress Celsius. As a result, it is very convenient to transport and store. It can also pre-heater the secondary air up to the temperature above 700 degress Celsius, then the waste heat can be recycled to reduce energy consumption.
